3 Level Line Manager Hierachy Approval

Hello,

we are facing the following problem during our current implementation:

Our client wants to have a 3 level line manager approval for the task "request a new position". After a line manager submits the transaction, then his manager, that manager's manager and the manager's manager manager will have to approve.

While this is certainly possible for the first and second manager tier in our client's org. structure as there are at least 3 more levels of line managers atop of them, we have the issue that after a current rank in the org. chart is reached, there are only 1 or 2 levels of line managers atop the requestor before the org. chart completes at the CEO level. Thus, the approval would fail.
