Convert payment terms field in PO UI from LOV to freetext

Summary:

Is there a way to convert the payment terms field in PO UI from LOV to freetext? This is due to conditional payment terms that are not available on the list of values. There are too many payment terms to set up in the LOV. The user would like to have a freedom in entering the payment terms (free text).

Or are there other workaround to achieve this requirement?
