Formatting issues

We have a reference doclet - excel.

There is a name manager created in this reference doclet. Now this name manager referring section has some format (some specific length and width of the columns).

This is check-in and uploaded to the reference doclet and thus becomes an Embed object.

Now, we trying to insert this embed object into a word based doclet. The web preview shows formatting without any issues. However, if opened in smartview, the same word doclet looses the formatting. Length/width changes; text gets wrapped etc etc.

Has anyone faced this issue, where web preview works well but the "open in smartview" of the same doclet looses the formatting !!
