The flexfields (DFF) in Approval rule configuration

We have a requirement for ORC to use DFF in approval configuration, as follows. Please help me with possible solutions.

  1. As part of the approval process, we wish to create an AOR and the Scope of Responsibility needs to be mapped with Flexfield (DFF, which is created on the assignment page). The AOR will be used by the Approver during the approval process. Is this possible?.
  2. Is it possible to configure approval rules using the Assignment DFF attribute.
