Can you require the year to be 4 digits when entering in a date?

Summary:

Our new hires are adding their contacts to their profile and when they get to the DOB section, the system is allowing them to put 2 digits for to year which is causing our IT feeds to kick back. Is there a way for us to require when someone puts in the year, they must put 4 digits? As it stands now, we are having to manually make these corrections.
