How to default grades on employee assignmnents

Hi,

Here the steps we have performed:

  1. Create valid grades
  2. Assign grades to jobs.
  3. Enforce both the following profile options to Y

  PER_ENFORCE_VALID_GRADES and PER_DEFAULT_GRADE_FROM_JOB_POSITION are Y and Single valid grade is defined at Job.


Expected result: valid grades should be displyed and defaulted in assignment information of employees.

Observed result: the grade is defaulting only when we update the job
