Is there an Equivalent on Cloud for Event Mapping feature in People Soft?

Hi Community,

We are currently supporting our client in transitioning from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud HCM.

The client is currently using the Event Mapping functionality from PeopleSoft. This functionality allows them to configure error messages and warnings for whenever they do a manipulation in the software.

Some examples:

  • They cannot inactivate a department if there is still an employee in this department--> an error message is displayed. 
  • They cannot assign a negative entitlement on the Assign entitlement & takes page in absence mgmt --> an error message is displayed. 
  • They get a warning when they assign a credit which is > 100 since this is a very rare case.
