Default Req DFF value based on position

Summary:

One of our customer is looking for defaulting of a Req DFF value based on the position selected. We still didn't get any details of mapping of the DFF to position, but I am just checking if this is even possible, as I don't see any mapping between the position and Req DFF. Any inputs are much appreciated.
