Cannot find employees in responsive search bar

Hello experts,
some users cannot find employees in responsive search bars. However, if they click on advanced search they can find them.
We added to custom role the following privileges:
Access Person Gallery
Search Worker
Use REST Service - Worker Searches V2
Use REST Service - Workers List of Values
Access Person Spotlight
Search Person
Use REST Service - Worker Searches
Use REST Service - Worker List Searches
Person Management
Manage Person
Use REST Service - Workers
Use REST Service - Workers Read Only
Access Person Spotlight Advanced Search
