How to check employee email address in Fixed Assets?

How to check if a particular employee email-id for Data conversion for Fixed Assets (in the MASS_ADDITION_DISTRIBUTION page) exist in the application?

We have few historic assets to load from client. Few of the assets have employee email-ids given. Before loading, I want to ensure if those employee email-ids already exist in the system so as to eliminate load error. Generally, I get this done from Assets -> Transfer Assets and then check the employee whereabouts from there. I want to know if there is an easier method.
