Is is possible to default Subinventory when raising a Purchase Order schedule line

Summary:

Users dont want to select default subinventory each time they raise a PO as subinventory is a must to identify supply from PO when running mix max planning. Is there a way to default to subinventory via setups. We can default the subinventory at the time of receiving PO via setup and maintenance. But we need this flexibility at the time of PO creation as well.
