How to make the DFF field visible in Asset addition?

Summary:

We have the FA Location key flexfield having 7 mandatory segments and few additional Information fields available.

While addition assets , i want to make the attribute field 'GL Location code' visible so i can see the location codes in dropdown.

The screenshots of the flexfield structure and asset addition is attached for reference. Please review and confirm if i can make the DFF field visible while asset addition?
