Audit Team observed that 26 Journal Sources are updated by the User "SEED_DATA_FROM_APPLICATION" . We understand that these Journal Sources are pre-defined data delivered along with application. We need to understand why these Journal Sources are marked as updated on 20th May 2023 by the User "SEED_DATA_FROM_APPLICATION" and what kind of update was performed.

We also suspect that the update was done as part of 23B release upgrade patch as the patch went into PROD on 20th May2023 on PROD.

We verified the details on lower instance (DEV2) which was refreshed before 23B patch application on PROD. We observed that the Dev2 has the Journal Source update date as 05th May, 2023 as the 23B release upgrade patch applied on lower instance on 5th May 2023 (as per the release patch upgrade schedule, the patch goes into the lower instance on first Friday of the month) and Dev2 was not refreshed from PROD after 23B patch upgrade. Therefore, Dev2 has an update stamp for Journal Source as 5th May 2023.
