Member viewing and contribution is not working

Summary:

I have 2 communities, 1 open community that allows member contribution and 1 secret community that I have added 1 employee to. For 1 of my roles, I am able to see the open community I am a member of via Me> Learning>View my communities but I am not able to contribute. For the other user in the secret community he cannot see the community under Me> Learning>View my communities even though he is a member. I have run a few different jobs "Process Access Control Lists for Learning Items for OSCS" and "Process User Access". Still not able to view the secret community or contribute to the community from either user.
