Is it possible to limit the number of Job Applications per Candidate?

Is there a setting to limited the number of Job Applications a Candidate can submit (e.g. per day).

We recently had a situation where a candidate had submitted between 25-30 job applications. Is it possible to limit either the total amount that a candidate can submit (total active job applications) or even a limit per day? I haven't been able to locate a setting or find it in documentation (but might just be overlooking it). Thank you.
