Edit partially invoiced and paid Purchase order

Hello,

I am looking for a confirmation if a partially invoiced and paid Purchase order could be modified ?

I am asking this question because last year we tried to edit a partially invoiced Po, we got an error message : the Po is either fulfilled or invoiced.

Now every status of the PO allow me to edit ( closed, closed for receiving and closed for invoiced ) the only stauts that won't allow is the finally closed stauts.
