Considerations before updating Payroll Relationship Start Date

Hi Experts,

We have a few employees in the system, whose Hire Date and Payroll Relationship Start Date's are not in sync. This includes employees who already have the payroll run and others who don't

Please advise on how to change the payroll Relationship start date. I have included the screenshots.

The employee was Hired on 02/05/2024. But the payroll start date is 2/12/2024.

  • How can I correct this for employees who don't have the payroll run yet
  • How can I correct this for employees who already have the payroll run
