Can we default the dropdown value for Assignment status.?

Summary:

Hi,

Can we default the Assignment Status field (Highlighted below) to "Active - Payroll Eligible" on the Hire an Employee and Add Pending Worker screens and not have the other 3 drop-down options available? I don't see that field as an option for Promote or Transfer transactions -- so no modifications are required on those screens. As our HR staff continues to transact Global Transfers, it thought it would be best to HIDE that same field on the 3rd screenshot below. HR Staff should NOT be changing that Source Assignment Status for the Global Transfer Transaction.
