Customization on Resignation email not getting reflected in notification

Summary:

We are currently customizing the notification of Resignation email, but changes are not getting reflected in email notification.

Template i am trying to customize is v3 resignation template.

Template path :- /shared/Human Capital Management/Workflow Notifications/AssignmentResignationReport

Updating template to display context based on status of notification, we have update data model also with extra dataset.
