Planning to Project Management Connection

Hello,

We have a custom project planning application in EPM that we want to be able to send new project to ERP Project Management. I can only find documentation for this connection using the project planning module. Is there documentation on creating a custom data integration for this or which connection type would need to be used in EPM in order for Project Management to be the target application in a data integration?
