How to add a field from a child resource as a filter in the new learning assignment template

Scenario

I am trying to include a condition in the new learning assignment notification based on the following resource: learnerLearningRecord.selectedCourseOfferings.offeringDeliveryMode. The idea is that if the offering delivery mode is ORA_SP, then print certain text; otherwise, print something else. I can pull any attribute from learnerLearningRecord but not from child resources under learnerLearningRecord. Can someone help?

I tried many options, including an if condition, but it did not work. If someone has tried this before, please share the code.

Note: I have already gone through the Oracle white paper on Oracle Learning Alert but did not find anything there
