Position synchronization not working on future dated changes

Summary:

I have added position synchronization, however I have noticed that when making changes to positions that these do not pull through to assignments. It only seems to be working for those that have been done on the same day. I.E today is 15th March and I make a change this will pull through if I make a change as of 18th March this does not pull through.

This is also not working for back dated changes.
