New value created under PER_PDS_REHIRE_REASON Lookup Type isn't appearing in the Termination RUI.

We have a requirement to extend the list of values of the field "Why Not?", that gets dynamically enabled when you choose the Recommended to Rehire field as NO in the Termination transaction. The list of values are being stored under PER_PDS_REHIRE_REASON is the Lookup Type. However, the new value created is appearing in Classic Termination page but not the in RUI page. Is this the expected bahaviour?
