Seniroty Dates in BIP query

Summary:

We are fetching seniority date from the record per_seniority_dates_f record for continuous Service Date . We have observed that for one of the person Number there are two seniority dates , one is for Pending worker and the other is for employee. Is this correct scenario ? How do we fetch the seniority date for the employee record ?
