Can "Previous Last Name" field be configured/setup to be searchable on Person Management: Person search page ?

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

Currently we can use person's First Name, Last Name, Preferred name as a Keywords while searching a person on the Person Management Search.
Client is looking for to search a person based on "Previous Last Name" and "Previous Last Name" field does not appear to be searchable at this time.
Can the 'Previous Last Name' field be configured/setup to be searchable?
