Global Transfer Approval to Payroll team for payroll Change

We have a requirement that, when an employee transfers from one payroll definition to another e.g. Biweekly to weekly or Semi Monthly to Biweekly, as part of global transfer, payroll team should be notified. We are not able to find any payroll attributes in Global transfer workflow.

Has anyone worked on similar requirement?
