Unable to create an expenditure type with similar name

Summary:

Tried to create an expenditure type with similar name after end-dating previous one.

Content (please ensure you mask any confidential information):

An older expenditure type was end-dated in multiple languages after modifying its name slightly.
All the expenditure type classes related to it were also end-dated.

Once this was done, tried to create a new expenditure type with similar name as end-dated one.

However "ORA-00001: unique constraint (FUSION.PJF_EXP_TYPES_TL_U2) violated" error was shown and was not able to create new expenditure type.
