Synchronize Notifications in Global Header

Summary:

As per the Doc ID 2647766.1 , "Synchronize Notifications in Global Header" process should be scheduled for every two hours.
We are planning to schedule it for every 5 mins to reflect the changes asap.
Would there be any impact on the application (in terms of performance or any) if we schedule it for every 5 mins?
