Summary:

Our client is currently uses an open source product PIMCORE for image management against items. These product images are then pulled to third party e-commerce portals like Instacart. PIMCORE provides a url for each image which is pulled using API call. This product has a number of gaps and challenges.
The client intends to move all product images to Oracle PDH and be able to pull these images for various purpose like sending images to boundary systems like Retail HQ, POS and other systems. It also intends to publish images to e-commerce portals or have third party portal do an API pull.
