How to handle Licenses and Certificates- we have 3 fields of information currently.

We have about 600 Certifications for our School District - mostly Teacher Certifications. These currently reside in 3 separate fields in our system, so we just use a report to sort by each of the 3 fields to pull only the specific Certification desired.

In Oracle, there is only one Certification field, so employees, candidate, managers, etc. need to search through 600 values - some of which have similar names.

Has anyone else run into this situation, and how did you handle it?
