Error when copying a report shortcut to another folder

We are trying to setup a folder containing shortcuts to reports that are located in various folders across the OTBI tool, in order to simplify access to commonly used reports.

When we use the "Create Shortcut" action on any report, the shortcut is created in the same folder as the report itself. When we try to copy that shortcut to another folder, we see an error message "Path not found - Check the input path entered". This occurs even if the permissions are the same for the report, the shortcut and the folders. How can we achieve this?
