Redwood Course Showing Past Offerings

Hi,

We have enabled Redwood in our Test environment and when a learner goes into the Catalogue and searches for a course, upon clicking 'Find Offerings' they are presented with both past and future offerings. This doesn't currently happen in Production (we don't put a publish end date on the course, the catalogue just automatically shows future offerings only).

Is this expected functionality and if so what is the reasoning behind it?
