Ability to restrict number of collaborators of a specific type

We need to be able to restrict the number of collaborators that can be added of a specific type (For example - Only one Recruiting Assistant can be added to a requisition)

I don't see collaborators available as an attribute in Auto-complete. I have raised an idea, but checking if someone was able to achieve this.
