FCCS Production application size increased drastically

Hi,

FCCS application size has been increased by 8 Gb in last 7 days even though no major changes have been done in the application.

Application performance is hampered due to increased size , what could be the reason for this increase in size?

Please suggest, what is the best way to figure out the root cause of this size change.
