How to allow Regulatory Licensing role to edit Additional Info section under Position Details

Our client needs us to enable the custom regulatory licensing role to edit and view Regulatory Licensing Information in the position details. We've enabled the edit button in that section and successfully made edits to the fields. However, upon clicking OK and searching for the position again, the changes made in that section and its fields aren't saved. Can anyone provide assistance?
