Searching keywords in Job applications

The candidate search works for keywords in resumes or attachments in the Candidates section, does the same work in the Job applications within a requisition.

After navigating to Hiring—> Candidates, searching with a word or phrase within a resume or attachment will return the candidates. But the same does not work when searching in the Job applications list within a requisition. Is it the expected behavior. This could be helpful when there are more number of job applications. Please suggest.
