Where will it all impact when we create two hierarchies for one segment, "Account"?

Hello,

I have a requirement from the client that they already have a hierarchy, and now for reporting purposes they need a new version. When we create a new version, the old one gets end-dated, but the requirement is that they want both versions to be active till date. So, we are thinking of suggesting two hierarchies for the account segment. The accounts that they have provided are totally different from the existing hierarchy. I have tried creating a new hierarchy, and I am able to create one as well. My concern is whether there will be any challenges after creating
