Copying Human Resource Manager role

Good day,

We are experiencing a challenge where we are trying to set up HCM exclusion rules.

The exclusion rules work fine when linked to the seeded HR Manager role however, the moment that we copy the HR Manager role, it no longer gives access to My Client Groups.

Does anyone have any idea why this may be?

We've tried copying only the top role as well as copying the top and inherited roles, same result.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
