Delete ghost record from assignment table

How do we delete a record that is not present in PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M tables but is present in PER_ALL_ASSIGNMENTS_M_ audit table.

An employee has two active records which is not seen from UI or assignment table, but present in audit table.

How do we remove this record
