Current Assignment showing as "Probation-Payroll Eligible" in Global Transfer notification

Summary:

While any Global Transfer is being initiated for an employee, the BIP Notification Template which is a seeded template provided by Oracle, captures the Current Assignment's Assignment Status as "Probation-Payroll Eligible" whereas the correct value for this is "Active-Payroll Eligible". Now further, Proposed Assignment's Assignment Status is also captured as "Active-Payroll Eligible" which is correct, but why is that the current Assignment not showing the correct value but Probation for an employee.

Also, is the source assignment and current assignment same that are showcased on this notification template? If so, yet again the status is incorrect, and customer wants to know why?
