approvals are failing because of FYI user missing in hierarchy

Hi Team,

We are having an issue in Termination approvals where its configured for self-Auto approve and send FYI to list of users.

There are two levels of manager hierarchy whom FYI should be triggered so If manager at 2nd level is missing then the whole transaction is failing with an error "Error caused by SOA component or the underlying HWF configuration or a Supervisor hierarchy setup issue."

Is there a way we can skip hierarchy and move to next level if participant in the hierarchy is missing for FYI's instead of transaction getting failed?

If it was single level of supervisor hierarchy then I could have used User node but since 2 level of supervisor hierarchy we need to using Manager hierarchy node.
