Person Name Styles - Name Information values and what they equal

edited Jul 19, 2024 9:49PM in Human Capital Management 1 comment

Update: The earlier response I received with this doc referenced, (Doc ID 2146270.1), has been helping a lot. However, there are still some fields that aren't referenced in the doc. For example, a name information value for husband last name in certain countries. Is there a master list Oracle provides where name information fields by country are fully defined?

Bear with as my question has complexity to it. Is there a key that explains which name information value is equal to what? For example, in Person Name Styles, NAM_INFORMATION 1 can equal Mother's Last Name. Further, per Oracle notes, Name Information 1 through 14 are reserved for localization requirements. 15 through 30 can be used to define specific person name components for a country. Do these Name Information values vary by country? Regardless, and restating my initial question, what do each of the name information numbers equal? I'm not finding an answer in Oracle documentation that explains Name Styles.

Howdy, Stranger!
