1st Approver's line manager as the 2nd Approver error

Requirements:
1. First approver: Job Level Hierarchy of the Hiring manager, with minimum job level
2. Second approver: Direct supervisor of first approver

Details:
We are trying to set the 2nd Approver as the Direct Supervisor of the 1st Approver. The 1st Approver configuration in the transaction console is working and getting the correct user.

What is encountered?
1. is it possible to get direct supervisor of job hierarchy 1st approver?
2. if yes, what should be the overriding expression in 2nd approver participants to be used to achieve this?
