It is possibile to complete a course also if the Offering end Date is Exceeded?

I would like to ask a question.

Business Case:

My Client has created different Blended Offerings. In these offering there is one VILT activity and one self - paced activity. They want to put the offering end date equal to the day when the VILT is scheduled, but they want to give to the learners more time to complete the self - paced activity.

My question is: can an enrolled learner complete a course (in this case doing the self - paced activity) once the Offering is end-dated?

For example: the VILT is scheduled today and HR specialist put offering end date on today.
