Do approved transactions automatically get removed from BPM Worklist?

Summary: A user has approved an intercompany transaction within the BPM Worklist, however, the transaction is still showing up in the user's queue for approval in the BPM Worklist. Do transactions automatically get removed from the BPM Worklist after being approved?

The user checked the Manage Approvals → Requiring My Approval area, and this transaction does not appear in that area, so not sure why it's still showing in BPM Worklist.
