performance issue. “pay_balance_y ofview_pkg.Get_balance_matrix” is having performance issue.

We have a request from customer that in a query which is used in one of the custom Payroll BIP reports have below SQL statement, which is giving a performance issue. Upon our initial analysis we found that “pay_balance_y ofview_pkg.Get_balance_matrix” is having performance issue. Kindly let us know if we have any solution for this or any idea on how to improve performance of this package.
