Req Approvals- comparing Requester Dptt Cost Center with charge acct cost center on requisition line

Summary:

When trying to use the Approval task attributes for Requisition approvals, the Requester Department is one of the available attributes but not the cost center set up underneath the department. We have a requirement to compare the cost center under the Requester's Department setup with the cost center in the GL account of the requisition charge account and drive the approval rules from there whether the requester's hierarchy is to be used or cost center manager hierarchy is to be used for job level based approval hierarchy.

We were thinking of creating a DFF at requisition line and derive the department cost center and defaulting on the DFF using bind variable of Requester ID but as per the available documentation, bind variables based DFF value defaults are not supported for Enter Requisition Line. We are creating requisitions through Enter Requisition Lines.
