Employee is not able to put resignation in Fusion in case of global transfer

Summary:

Employee who is global transferred when put the resignation from Me tab (Me ⇒ Resignation) in Fusion, below error message is shown (Employee has two assignments - Active and Suspended)

"You have more than 1 active work relationship with the organization. Contact your line manager or HR representative for processing your. (PER-1531776)"

Looking for the solution so that global transfer employee can also put the resignation in Fusion.
