Can one change the alias of a GL period name for use in SmartView

Summary:

We are running GL with a Fiscal Year starting October and Ending September. The fiscal year starting for example 1 st of October 2024 is FY25. Thus for example the period starting 1st of October and ending 31st of October 2024 has been given the name Oct-25. This works fine when running a report in Smart View with the use of period name.

However, when the user in SmartView is creating a GL report and for the period is using Alias then this for the same period shows October 2024. This is confusing to the users.

Name: Oct-25, but Alias: October 2024

As the string 'October 2024' does not appear in the setup of the period in GL, I wonder if that string simply is defaulted as part of the creation of the Essbase cube.
