To update the MRP planning method as Not planned when item status is made Inactive

Summary:

We would like to make the MRP planning method as Not planned when item status is turned inactive through an automatic process

Problem- For an Item status inactive, still the item is inventory item and it is used for other purposes as planning is not an transaction attribute, we could not make the MRP planning as Not planned during inactive status. however, we can prevent the sales order and transfer order entry but the forecast is loaded manually, so the items are planned in a supply plan and planned order gets generated. we would like to prevent it

I am not sure if the item rules sets will work, but assignment rule sets does not work for two attribute group
